RN - LED Light Status

The LED lights on the BN and RN can be used to determine the current state of the device. Slightly different behavior exists between the different devices.

1 – May indicate a hardware failure if the RN stays in this state for more than approximately 1 minute.

2 – Indicates one or more of the following:

  • Alarm raised

  • Lower modulation

  • Packet errors above threshold

  • Upgrade failed

3 – Indicates one or more of the following:

  • Link down

  • Watchdog error

  • Hardware failure

Data Link LED

The following states indicate ethernet status on the data port:
