RN - LED Light Status

The LED lights on the BN and RN can be used to determine the current state of the device. Slightly different behavior exists between the different devices.

Normal Operation

The following states indicate normal operations.

Faults

The following states indicate possible faults.

¹ – May indicate a hardware failure if the RN stays in this state for more than approximately 1 minute.

² – Indicates one or more of the following:

Alarm raised
Lower modulation
Packet errors above threshold
Upgrade failed

³ – Indicates one or more of the following:

Link down
Watchdog error
Hardware failure

Data Link LED

The following states indicate ethernet status on the data port:
